With the year coming to a close, I figured it would only be right to shed some light on how I fared in pursuing my 2023 goals.
This is by no means a post to boast about my accomplishments, but to emphasize the power and importance of deliberately setting objectives (personal, professional, physical, etc.), determining how you’ll reach them, checking in along the way, making adjustments, and conducting honest self-assessment afterwards.
I didn’t have a perfect year—I didn’t meet all of the goals listed below, or all of my professional goals at work. However, I accomplished a lot of what I wanted to and learned a lot along the way, which will make me even better in 2024.
