Proverbs 27:17 proclaims: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”.
You don’t have to be religious to understand the power of relationships & community. We are social creatures, and we were not designed to tackle life on our own.
Last year, I moved to a new city. Fortunately, I already had several relationships in place—I live with my wife, and many of my college friends live in the same city. However, I have continued to join and cultivate relationships and communities, and it has paid back in dividends.
Spiritually, I have benefitted from joining a new church family, participating in an office Bible study, and engaging in intentional fellowship with other believers around me.
Physically, I have benefitted from being a part of the Carolina Barbell Club, the EliteFTS VIP Table Talk Crew, and the Garage Gym Competition communities.

Professionally, I have benefitted from constantly networking with folks in the city where I live, the city where my (remote) work is based, and others throughout the world.
I am without a doubt a better person than I was 18 months ago for it. More importantly, I’ve been able to serve others along the way.
